Forum Problems

Post by Chip Fossa »

When the Forum opens up, and I go to any PAGE, July 8 is the latest date; 'Show the
Last 10 days'; My PREFERENCES are not holding.
I did do a complete COOKIE purge around this time. Could this be it? No!?! - Don't they just re-plant themselves????

Try setting your preferences again, then enter through the front door at http://steelguitarforum.com

b0b,
I reset preferences. A couple of times. I went back in thru the 'front door', and it still showed July 8. On the next reset,
I just stayed right in the Forum, and July 16
was there; but when I closed out and went in again thru the 'front door', back to July 8.

When I clicked on 'preferences' to check out the settings, the small window bar [show topics from __ days] did not show 'from last 5 days', which was the setting I put in.

b0b,
I just click on REFRESH now, and that aligns
everything datewise. I'll live with it.

Thanks.....you can close this thread, if you want.

Chip: I think your problem is with the setup of your browser and is not cookie related. If you are using IE go to:
Tools,
Internet Options,
General,
Temporary Internet Files,
Settings,
Check for newer versions,
set button for "Automatically"
or "Every time" Auto is best.

Hope this works

Recluse,
Your suggestion fixed the problem.

Thanks for the heads-up on that.
