cakewalk woes
When recording with my cakewalk the track keeps changing volumes at playback. (This is a real audio recording I am doing). It is a band in box file I have converted to midi & then record out of cakewalk. the track plays fine before I record onto it. I am using a sblive platinum sound card. Any suggestions??

Just look at the Mixer window during playback. You might just have imported some extra Midi data from BIAB which is working your mix automation.
If you have, you'll see that the faders are moving, and you can stop them. Failing that, check the Midi events list for anything that is not a note, and "control X" it, then see if it cures the problem. If something bad happens you can paste it back in that way.
Cheers

Just check if you are having an audio loop feedback. Maybe you are recording yourself twice at the same time? Is your volume going up or down?
