Click on the Help link. It has instructions for that and other forum goodies.

You can click the little pencil in any post to see the original typed message. Then you can see how a particular link was created.

You don't have to do anything special, just type them in as if you were in your browser, or just copy and paste the address from your browser.

After looking at the help file, it looks like examples would be better.

You can enter url's two ways.

1. directly, e.g. www.b0b.com or in the case of my web site, http://tampabaydsl.com/~jestoner

2. You can list a name for the hyperlink such as my web site Gulf Coast Steel Guitar
