What tone settings work best for you with the N112 (gigs)?

This what I like with my Derby.
Pregain 4, lows+6, Mids -10,shift at 12 oclock,Highs +3 presence 0, Master volume at 7. This seems to work good for me.

There is a lot of discussion on this forum section and listings of settings. Do a search.

Generally, most questions like this have been asked several times and answered several times. The forum search feature can get you a lot of info, if it's used.
[This message was edited by Jack Stoner on 22 November 2005 at 03:51 AM.]

I have noticed that most players set the NV112 shift control to 1:00 oclock (I think that is 800).
I use a high impedance pickup(DC resistance of 20k ohms). I do this because I like a warm sound. With this pickup, I like to set the shift at 10-11 o'clock. It makes a world of difference. The shift control can change your tone from "dead" to "Brilliant".

I just really would suggest you twist the knobs 'til it sounds good to you. If you feel you need a starting point...start with all knobs at 12 o'clock....and turn it up!
