Peavey DPC750 ?? for Mike B

Can you run a single speaker configuration without harming this amp? I don't need to be louder, just lighter.

Thanks Bobby,
I was thinking of reconfiguring my stuff to full rack, and don't really need two speakers. Also don't play clubs, etc, so don't need the extra punch/volume.

Yes, you can operate the DPC amplifier without a speaker attached to either channel. Or, it will operate all day long with only one speaker connected and it will not harm the amp.

Thanks for using Peavey products.

Isn't this what the "bridge" button is for?

Yes. But who needs 700 watts to one speaker? It sounds better to my ears in the stereo position. And yes I know it has a volume control for each side.Just my opinion of course..............bb
