Local steeler (and music store owner) Johnny Bondz has one on his LDG model Sho-Bud. Works great although it won't cover all 10 strings.

Johnny is not on the forum, but you can call him at Bondz Music, Wildwood, Fl, 352-748-5048 and talk to him about it.

I see that they make a PU for "The Stick" which is longer and can cover a 10 or 12 string steel.
I am looking into ordering one myself for a project steel.

I tried one 6 yr ago. They don't work on steel! It tracks about 1/3 of the notes I played; it's just not fast enough. I use it on my guitar and it works well. It is frequency specific; that's why it works better on a guitar (ie, it wont work upside down!)---j--- don't waste your $
