Need Repairman for Boss Tone

Looking for someone to fix my Jordan Boss Tone. It workeed fine until I replaced the wheel on the volume pot. Not it only works in bypass. No sound at all when switched to distoration.

Help!

Alan,

Those are pretty simple circuits. I haven't opened my up in a while, but if I remember correctly, they are "wired" on a perf board rather than a printed circuit board. More than likely, the problem is a cold solder connection. I would check that first.

In case you can't fix it yourself, I think LeMay does repairs on them.

You might also check to see that the battery connector wires are not broken.

I was getting ready to ship the unit off to Mike Brebes and decided to take another look at it, using a lighted magnifier. I found the leg of one capacitor touching the leg of another capacitor. Problem solved.
