Hey
I tried the new Steel King today with my Fender quad. Fender is back,well,they never really left.It was those who didnt think Fender was watching. They were and they have
a GREAT amp in the Steel King..It kicks you
know what. And that Twin with the 15" speaker
floored me.I thought well ,hell I'll go on the road again for my alma mater..seriously
these are GREAT amps and I am so happy I took my triple Custom and Quad to my Fender franchised buddy dealer.

He too was vibrating from the low end to the
top end...I mean his head wise guys.

Sam Marshall and Shane Nicholas deserve the credit for this project and the steel guitar sound that Leo invented is back in good hands and full swing with a GREAT sound that will more than compliment any brand of guitar

Many thanks to a great marketing team and a great Executive Vice President whom I knew the day he was born that he would someday wear Fender tweed underwear.

Larry Moudy Fenders Best who just what seems only a few short years ago started out as a Fender sales rep like myself now heads up a winning team of great people.

Sam..do you have to advertise your last name as Marshall? no offense, but that name overdrives my speakers and I get than Van Halen Brown sound..How about Sam Fender? I'm sure Leo wouldnt mind sharing that name.

You guys are still the best. Save a spot for me, I can sell the amp casters for AARP members and drive the Fender excursion bus to tour the factory.

Don Johnston..He was with Fender the day I was born...meet me on West 48th street and I'll buy you all a good ole New York Pastrami sandwich.

66 lbs full of Dyanmite. I borrowed a Steel King from Fender dealer buddy of mine last night.And that bugger almost broke the glasses on the bar.

Man can that amp cook. And it cleans up well too.

edited my scale was off by 1 lb, must have had a little more dynamite packed in the muzzle.

Alot of folks seem to be commenting on the
weight. Gee....if I remember right, back
when I had a NV400 for many years that it
was also around 65 lbs. or so wasn't it?
My old '65 Twin Reverb is also in the same
ballpark. The Evans & Webb amps might be a
little lighter, but not a heckuva lot.

According to our UPS scales, the Nashville 400 weighs 57lbs.....always has. Packed, it weighs approximately 66lbs.

for our information, how close are your nearest neighbors? I know from experience that a Steel-King can drown out the neighbor kid's car stereo within the confines of my home (the car stereo is currently broken, thank goodness!).

With regard to your comments. I find that my dogs are unable to lift their legs on the sofa, The volume of your amp causes spasms
of the dogs vital productive organs thereby
keeping the dogs from voiding on the carpet.

When I play through your amp my dogs have a look of despair,I think the Steel King has nuetered them by the excessive low end the amp produces. Questions?? anyone
