Kaphan, Bouton, & Macy, in Recording Magazine
I just got my issue of Recording Magazine today and there is a nice article by Bruce Kaphan on recording the pedal steel guitar. There are paragraphs devoted to Bruce Bouton and John Macy, in which they share some or their own tips. The Forum is mentioned, as is Buddy Emmons, Ricky Davis, and Steve O'Brien. This is great exposure for our instrument in a field where a lot of fellows don't even know what a steel looks like or is supposed to sound like, let alone how it should be recorded. Way to go guys! You make us proud!

Wow, what a great pleasure to be included with both Bruce's. Each are excellent players, as well as producers and writers. Been friends with BB for years, and hope to meet up with BK someday (in case you don't know, check out BK's record "Slider" and anything he did with American Music Club--you already know the cool stuff BB has done).
(and in case you haven't figured it out--I do Tommy's PR and he does mine
