?? Ohms of Standel amp

Post by Jerry Roller »

Does anyone have a mid 60's Standel Custom amp with the original speaker? I need to know what ohm speaker came in those amps.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry, I had a Standel Custom in the 60's. If I remember correctly the speaker was 4 ohms and a JBL. Hope this helps

Both of mine are early 1970, but both have 8 ohm Altec 418B's. Best speaker and best steel amp I've ever played through.

The Standel Website may have the info you're looking for. If not, send EMail to Danny McKinney (Email address on the website). He's been very helpful to me.
