Me and the Pandoras Box

Post by Ricky Littleton »

Well, I've been playing around with my new PX-4 Padora's box, and I have found I love it. Just for fooling around with it's great, but the effects are neat especially with the group I'm with down here. Not much country (other than my occasional solo whe they let me out of my cage), but with the type of music we're playing, it really adds some "funki-ness" when I/we need it.

Best money I've spent in a while.

Just thought some folks would like to know.

What kinds of settings are you using Ricky? I have one of these units, and I love it too, but I've heard contrary views. The thing proabaly wasn't designed with steel guitar in mind. Do you use it direct to the amp or through the effects loop? Do you use the amp and cabinet modelings? Which effects do you like and what do you set them at?

Ricky,

I'm considering the purchase of a PX4 and wireless headphones for practicing. I travel and can't always take the amp. Is the sound good for steel? What else do you like about it? Is the power adapter a neccessity?

I have the first generation Pandora, and it's a GREAT headphone amp, lush reverb, I have to believe the newer ones are that and more
