reverb plug

Does anyone know where I can get the 4 prong (female) connector for my Nashville 400 reverb?This is the plug that connects the reverb tank to the amp.this has been removed and re-soldered so many times that it's only working intermittently.I've checked locally with the Peavey dealer and he does'nt seem to think that it would be an item that Peavey would keep in stock.I bought the amp used and i'm not sure how this problem originated.Any help would be appreciated.

I would be very surprised if Peavey did not stock that molex connector. Do a search for Mike Brown on this forum and send him an email.

I am confident he can fix you up.

Peavey stocks this item as a "reverb cable assembly",includes molex, both cables w/ RCA plugs. It sells for only,.........$48.50

Forty-eight bucks? I would think a well stocked electronics store can order (or have) the Molex connector you need. Come to think of it, as long as the solders are good on your connector, you can 'retension' the connector sleeves with a small pointed tool so as to be snug on the connecting pins. If the metal has lost its ability to hold shape, then you need a new connector.

ditto on Bob M's statement.
You should be able to find the molex plug at most any electronics store. If not,just buy any molex plug and take the pins out of it and put them into the original "Peavey" plastic houseing. Bingo..... problem solved.
I've done it many times on (some of you guys may remember these devices) record players.
