Tuner model reccomendations

Post by Bobby Duncan »

One of my students is looking for a 'cheap' chromatic tuner for his steel. I use the Korg DTR2. Too expensive for him. Can someone suggest a reasonably priced tuner model for him? I'm not sure what everyone else is using. Thanks for your input.

I like the Seiko ST757L I just bought. They are in the $30 range. It has +/- LEDs and an LCD "needle" but also a cents readout with finer resolution (one cent) than the needle. I bought this after someone recommended it here in another thread recently.

We have a Korg CA30 for $24.99 at All Steel Guitar.com. Go to accessories and select tuners. We have sold a number of these and they are a great little tuner for the dollar in our opinion...
