Opinions on Peavey Classic 50/50 ?

Post by Jon Light (deceased) »

I'm thinking of a moderate sized rack-mount tube power amp and I'm wondering what experiences anyone has had with the 50/50 classic.

Hi Jon,
I used one for about a year. It sounded
good and was trouble free, although there's
lots of EL84s in there! If you don't do the
stereo thing then you can bridge it for 100
watts.

A pet peave of mine is people's failure to acknowledge helpful response to questions. Happens all the time to me. I get emails with questions and requests for advice, I take the time to respond in detail and I never hear from them again. It makes me wonder about people.

And here I am, guilty as charged. Thanks Jerry!

Jon,
I responded to your email about pickups, but was unsure if you got it or not, as my computer went off-line as soon as I sent the reply.
