Low prof. volume pedal

Post by David Cobb »

Forum, I'm using a Goodrich #120 pedal, stereo output. I want to go lower profile. Any suggestions, likes or dislikes?

Goodrich makes a lower version of the 120 called the L120. If you're happy with the Goodrich, that's the way to go. I've been using an L120 for over 20 years and just bought an extra one to have a spare at home.

Hilton makes a low version as well. Dekley pedals are also low as are Fender's.

The Dekley "Low Boy" is an EXCELLENT choice, if you can find one. Obviously, they are no longer made. In the "closed" position, (volume all the way on),it measures 2" ± high.I bought mine off the forum, several yrs. ago. Keep searching "buy & sell". One will, eventually, show up. When it does,GRAB IT!!!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions both thru the Forum and by email. My PSG has 1" shorter than standard legs and rods, which I like, & a low profile volume pedal should make things more comfortable. I'll check 'em all out before I buy. BTW Smiley, while I've got your ear, everyone enjoyed your set at the 2002 ISGC. Lotsa fun.

Thank you David. Maybe, next time,(if there is one) I won't be quite as nervous. You'd think 50 yrs. in the "business" would settle me down. Image

I,ve been using a Goodrich L10K for about five years now and I love it. No trouble whatsoever. It has a built in buffer amp. and I change the battery in it once a year whether it needs it or not.

Just went back and read Mark Ardito's recent post about the Hilton pedal. Guess I skimmed right past it, duh. However, for the price, the Goodrich L120 will fill the bill at this juncture. Smiley, your disguise covered any hint of nervousness. Image
