Peavey Tube Sweetner

Post by Mark Kelchen »

Anyone got any experience with the Paevey Tube Sweetener? I'm in need of trimming some highs and wondering if that might do the trick.

I've got one but haven't hooked it up yet.
I don't know if it will do what you want, though. It's primarily to "warm" up the sound from a solid state setup.

The Tube Sweetener was designed to warm up a solid state amp, which it definitely can do as it is powered by three AX7 tubes. As far as the equalization section. The "SPICE" control is a tone control and by adjusting this you can adjust to taste(no pun intended). Try it and let me know if you have further questions.
