RV-3 Users?

Post by David Mullis »

Well, I had my RV-3 all dialed in but some knobs got tweaked while tearing down the other night. I can't get back to what I had before. Can any of y'all share any of the settings you use?

Thanks
David

On my RV-3, I set the mode knob to 4, delay time to 8 o'clock feedback all the way off, balance to 8 o'clock. This gives you a little bit of reverb and delay together. I've never tried it with just delay, but there are many ways to adjust it. I also run a little reverb from my Nashville 400 too, about at 2. The RV-3 is very sensitive so you have to be carefull how far you move the knobs. The book has a number of recommended settings. RV-3 are really hard on batteries too if you didn't know already so you bette use a wall wart adapter. LH

David, looking left to right (I forgot the knob controls names! haha), anyway, I go about 9 o'clock, 9 o'clock, and 10 o'clock, with the main setting on 4. Of course this may be a little much delay for an uptempo song. Anyway, hope this helps.
