Question to Mike Brown/Peavy

Post by Waisznor »

I,m sad that I cannot buy the new Peavy Steel Guitar Amps in Europe. So my question is: Can I use the Nashville 1000 through a voltage converter (220 volts) without any problems?

Operating amplifiers on a 50Hz. line when the amp is specified to operate on a 60Hz. may result in 'hum" problems. However, since we haven't sought approval for export shipments, this is something that hasn't been checked.

An important point that needs to be considered is that the converter would have to be big enough to handle the power consumption of the Nashville or Session which is around 400 watts. I hope that this helps you.

Thank´s to Mike Brown und the Forum. I think the best for me is, to play with my old Sho Bud and spend the money for the German-American-Friendship.
