Too Lonely Too Long

Post by Rick Campbell »

Too cold and icy in East TN to do too much, so I recorded a Mel Tillis song. Used all my studio tools like BIAB, MIDI, etc... along with my playing and singing. This is my 1974 Emmons PP recorded direct. These guys work cheap, but they tend to be lazy.

Thanks for another great video, Rick!

I’m guessing those guys don’t insist on getting paid union rates.

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

Always enjoy your videos Rick. They make me smile as did a couple of those steel licks you used.

Love it, Rick! It’s one of my favorite Tillis songs, and I do it as an instrumental.

I'd love to hear that. You play those 4/4 shuffles so well. You play everything well.

It's just a matter of time. They don't get along.

Thank you. That song contains about 75% of my steel lick repertoire. :D

They don't know about that. I keep them sheltered. :)

Thank you Norman. This was my first using the new Fender 8 DAW. A few changes, but pretty intuitive.

Very nice, Rick! I didn't know you were one of triplets... You should give those two brothers some credit too. Well done...
