Re: Don Adams
Sorry to read about Don's passing. He ws a good singer and musician who never became a major solo star but recorded some good music. Here's a link to Discogs with info about the only LP album he ever recorded in 1973. Weldon and Doug were on steel.

Re: Don Adams
RIP Don,
In the article posted above at Savincountrymusic.com, you can see in the post section what I wrote and then the reply by the author Kevin Smith to my post, nice to see the mentions.
My post:
'Great article Kevin, very well researched and written, and being a big steel fan, I appreciate your nods to Emmons, Myrick, Jernigan, and Eddie Lange. I’ve met them all wish more people knew how influential they were, so thanks for including them in your piece!'
Kevin Smith's reply:
Jersey,
'I neglected to mention Sonny Curtis, the later Jones Boy who replaced Buddy Emmons. Don found and hired him for the band. Curtis was also an Ohio guy. Everytime I ever talked to Don, he spoke about steel players. Don was a superfan of pedal steel. He knew Pete Drake and Lloyd Green as well. He often measured how good a band was by how good the steel player was. Cannot overemphasize that Adams was a Musicians musician if you know what I mean. The reason I mentioned that Nashville DJ convention is because , for Don it was like going to Disney World. Every year he couldn’t wait to go, because he was gonna get to jam with all his musician buddies. And that’s what he truly loved.'
