Dear steel fellows,
I think I have to rephrase my question here.
I'm using an old Peavey Nashville (Vegas) amp which is 30+ years in use and looking for something new.
What kind of Amps are you guys using out there?

Re: Amplifier suggestion
I'm using a Milkman "The Amp 100" along with a 12" speaker cabinet. Sounds great to my ears, and super light weight. Friends of mine play the Milkman Half & Half (even better sounding than my rig) and the Sideman (no longer made, but similar to the Milkman Pedal Steel amp which is still offered and is the 'best of the best' in my opinion). Expensive gear for sure, but it's handmade in a small shop with the best components.
The Katana amps get a lot of love on this forum, as do the Quilters (especially the little amp heads along with a speaker cab). If you want to stay with the Peavey sound, they now have a new Session 115 amp. I would think it sounds pretty similar to your current amp.
