I hear Santa may bring me one of these modeling amps …

Do you have any favorite presets or amp/cabinet combinations for clean steel guitar ???

I don't own the GTX mine is the older Mustang 3 v2. I found the best tone was a Fender Twin Reverb with its cabinet. You have to edit the reverb and add any delay. If it's anything like mine use will need to use the app or a computer and tweak settings to the best. I can do a lot on the amp but it's easier on the app.

I too used a Mustang 3 v2 for a while. Loved the light weight and versatility and I got compliments from other steel players on my tone. I found none of the pre-sets useful for steel guitar so I deleted them all and made my own. I think I mostly used the Twin Reverb model as well.

Thank you …

I figured the presets were for Spanish guitars …

I have a 70’s 135 watt Twin … it’ll be fun to see how it “stacks” up … 🎁
