I liked his songs, especially I Can See Clearly Now and Sitting Here In Limbo.

I Can See Clearly Now was a Johnny Nash song - but a great cover by Jimmy Cliff.

Probably my favorite was The Harder They Come, and Many Rivers to Cross is also a classic.

Jerry Garcia was a big fan - I saw him do Sitting in Limbo and The Harder They Come with his Garcia Band multiple times here in the Bay Area.

Rest in Peace Jimmy Cliff - one of all time greats.
