Microsoft's support of the Windows 10 pc operating system ends October 14, 2025. After that date Microsoft will no longer provide technical support, security patches, updates or any other type of support.
While your computer will still operate the risk of becoming compromised or out-of-date will increase each day.
Windows 10 users should begin preparing for Windows 10 end of life.

While there's no guarantees, some Windows 10 computers from name brands, like Dell and HP, may already be enrolled in the ESU program to continue to receive security updates through Windows Update. This is happening on a Dell laptop I own. It's worth your time to check with your PC's builder to see if your make and model is enrolled to continue receiving Windows Updates.
