Sierra 14 string modular pickup

Hey guys! I havnt been able to fully play my steel due to these 2 pins being stuck down and not.making good contact to the pickup. Any tips here?

Have you done anything? I'd use something like electronics parts cleaner (but not brake or carb cleaner, as they can be hard on some plastics) and try to work them with something like a toothpick or small skewer. As long as the spring ain't broken, you should be able to get them free

I have tried that and they are not revealing. Can you pull this piece out and replace the springs?

I'll bet it's possible. I no longer have access to the Sierra I worked on, as it was a customer's guitar. I'm not going to try to tell you how because I'd hate to get it wrong.

Turn the guitar over and check the wire hook up to the pickup, Check the pickup base, Can it be raised up, Till you can see how the wires are attached. There may be a way to remove a cap or some other mechanic retainer, To allow access to the spring which shoves the contact pins up.

May allow pin to be removed, And hole and pin to be cleaned and smoothed up so the pin and spring will move up and down smoothly.

I just hard wired it.
