Buzz Evans played through the Evans RE200 (tube preamp model) in a duo with a guitar player. It was in a Henderson, NV. hotel bar. The room held about 30 people and the volume was lower than normal gig level. It sounded fine at room level. He also played 6 string through it on a couple of songs. (Mullen RP D10 to amp only, only reverb from RE200, Goodrich pot vol pedal. )

I have one of the same amps. I can bring it to the next steel jam if you want to try it. I would not play a bar type gig with it. The SE200 with the 15” is much better for that kind of gig. You CAN hear the difference between the 10” and 15.”

I am playing through a Roland JC40 which has 2-10s. I am really happy with the sound!

I can't say which is the best, but I've been enjoying what I'm hearing from an Eminence Ragin' Cajun (Patriot Series). It's a very touch sensitive and efficient speaker with a big sound. I think it may be the nature of 10" speakers paired with pedal steel, but I turn the mids way down. Just my ears, your mileage may vary.
