Hey, thanks for posting that, Chris. That’s from my “16 Songs” book (tablature and notation). It’s B11 tuning (6-string), which is a very easy re-tune from C6… no need to change any strings.

I played that on a 1970s Guyatone console. I was looking for a raw, 1950s tone and Guyatones certainly have that! It was a D-8, but I only had 6 strings one of the necks to play the songs in that book. Thanks again.

Doug has been an inspiration since I first purchased his 25 More Songs for Lap Steel Guitar.
Terrific material for the beginning to intermediate player. The 16 Songs course is even better.
