Let My Steel Do The Talking

Post by André Sommer »

Hi all, early 1997 I produced an album for Dutch pedal steel guitar player Cor Verhaegh who passed away on December 17, 2018. This track is the titlesong from his CD "Cor Verhaegh and Friends" called "Let My Steel Do The Talking". I remember doing the lead- and backing vocals very well since it was around 4 o'clock in the morning ☺️

All vocals, instruments except fiddle (played by Joost van Es), arrangement, production and mix by yours truly. Song written by Wim Pols and recorded at Studio Douwe Buiter, Zwartemeer in The Netherlands : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jlrj4WUmmPc
