Blue Velvet

I'm always looking for a good melody for an instrumental on steel guitar. Here's one I did from Bobby Vinton...Blue Velvet.

Hello Ron, Great Job!! Beautiful!! Reminds me of my senior year in high school (1952) My now wife of 66 yrs danced to Blue Velvet sung bya classmate with a great voice--Dick Gibbs (deceased) Dick sang professionally many years. Thanks again for your great performance. I follow you on SGF. John Underwood Bozeman, Montana A follower of Leon McAuliffe and a wannabe PSG player---(worlds worst)

Thx John. I’m glad I could bring back some memories. That song was first hit in 1953 then in 1963. To me it has at all time feeling of the early 60s.

Very pretty Ron... Such a great song... Mom had this "Album" when I was a kid and I listened to it often.
