FWIW,I Posted some Pics. of graves around here of gravesites of my heroes.Many folks added pics. in their area. Search for "Golden age players gone home"if you want to pay respects to a bunch of our mentors.Glad to know you think of these pioneers.

These pics are awesome, Mitch! The cemetery is called Smith Springs Cemetery and is just outside Stephenville. Actually, I was the one that brought him the whiskey and beef jerky! I don’t drink, though, so I poured him one out and had myself a carbonated water.

I second what Jody said.
Good on you guys, Joe and Eric honoring the legends.
It is very peaceful at the cemetery, last went to one about a year ago. I was pretty much the only one there walking around for no reason. I felt a bit brave being there....if you can call it that.
I should really go and check some out in my local area. Buddy Williams the first Australian born country musician to be recorded in Australia is buried less than an hour from where I live. I've been meaning to check it out for the last couple of years....so maybe this post will inspire me to finally do it!
