Johnny Bush w/BE - Wish I'd Seen Your Goin' Comin'

Post by Ron Funk »

With the recent passing of Johnny Bush, I was reminded of all the great performances by Johnny Bush and Buddy Emmons at Scotty's St L Conventions.

I remember that Johnny said that he thought Buddy's solo on this particular song was the most beautiful that Buddy had ever recorded on one of Johnny's projects

Here's my take on tabbing out the Pedal Steel Parts to "Wish I Saw Your Going Coming" from Johnny Bush's CD "Lost Highway Saloon."

For Tab, "L" = 1/2 tone lower
"LL" = Whole Tone Lower
"RR" = Whole Tone Raise

Tab uses 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th string Lowers, and 2nd String Whole Tone Raise.

I'll post link to YouTube song via separate post.

Nobody can ever "out-Buddy, Buddy"
so your comments are appreciated.

Thanks-
Ron

Thank you so much for this, it's beautiful -- and always great to get a full song tab! E is great as ever and Johnny Bush's vocal, well, it's full of character.

‘Appreciate your comments George

Please feel free to suggest modifications to get Tab to match actual notes played as close to the original.

We can all learn in that collective manner,
