Tabledit....again

Post by Jim Fiegen »

I know this has been probably beaten to death, but i'm trying to find a decent tutorial for Tabledit for PSG...The potential of this program is very promising, but I have not found a good How-To on getting the notes right and entered properly. I have managed to customize the template to my copedent, but note entry is just not working. I would love some input and suggestions.

their forum on Groups.io is top notch, direct support and questions answered by the developper. You should talk to Jan Jonsson who created amazing tabs for Lloyd Green recordings on tabledit.

The tutorial on the Tab|Edit website is pretty thorough. Note entry for psg is the same as it is for any other instrument, except for entering pedal and lever changes with the Pitch Change editor.

The first thing to do is open a blank file, choose pedal steel with the copedent you set up as your instrument, and save that file as your psg template. Then the real fun starts.
