New Additions to Tab from Buddy!

Post by Ernie Renn »

Hey kiddies!

I thought I'd pop in and let you know I added some stuff to the Tab from Buddy page.

I added two more Steel Guitar Workshop columns that Buddy wrote for Guitar Player in the 70's.

I also added a page of stuff from a seminar Buddy did in the mid-80's. It has audio, as well.

I hope you like the additions!

When the lockdown is over I'm hoping shirts won't be far behind. (Cross your fingers...)
My best,
Ernie

great. the second half of tab 2 was posted in the april 71 issue and wasn't explained what it was part of. i just discovered it a couple weeks ago. that issue has a really good c6 ending. i stupidly sold my 69 and 70 years of guitar player so mine now start at april 71.

If I'm not mistaken, the first half of the second workshop on the website is the first line of At E's

Ernie,
Do you have anymore info on how Buddy used his third finger for blocking?

Watch a few Buddy videos on YouTube. Pay close attention to his finger. Whenever he's moving the ring finger in under his hand just a little bit, he's likely muting a note.

You can kinda see it HERE or HERE...

Also watch the ring finger when he's talking about the tuning intervals HERE!

Ernie
