Free non pedal tabs
For those who knew the late Bill Chaviers. I inherited all of his steel guitar tabs. Most are in C6 and various tunings. There is a total of about 1600 songs. If anyone has a request I will try to email you the tabs. Some of Bill's arrangements do not seem to play well, for me anyway, but it is probably just me. I have not been playing nearly as long as Bill. I think he wrote the tabs from sheet music and due to health problems could not try them out on the steel guitar.
For a list of his songs just Google: Bill Chaviers Steel Guitar Tab Site (non-pedal) and look for 64.234.204.87/

Here it is: http://64.234.204.87/.
Do you have the source code (html files) for the web site? If so, I'd like to host it under a good domain name so that it doesn't suddenly disappear.

I have several tabs from Bill and talked with him on the phone several times a couple of years ago. You are correct about some of the tabs being hard to play, but they are often good starting points. I take them and use a pencil to make notes or changes as I hear it while I'm playing. Bill was a cool guy and incredibly generous to young players like me. I didn't know he had passed until now. In that case, here's a hearty Mahalo to Bill.

I have recreated and updated the site with a new domain name (BillChaviersTab.com). It's located on the forum server so that it will continue to survive.
We don't have the tab files online yet. It may take a while. In the meantime, contact Floyd with your requests.

I haven't heard anything from Floyd since then. I'd be happy to host the files, if they exist.
