Linford King
Today our dad, Linford King, was reunited with our mother at 5:23 P.M. Dad was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He and mom were married for 57 years when she passed. Together they raised 9 children and taught us how to work and keep your name clean. Life will not be the same without him but I would bet he is having a blast walking on streets of gold. Goodbye Dad, you may be gone but never forgotten.

Thanks everyone for such kind words. If you notice his name was Linford. Have any of you ever heard that name or seen it anywhere? There is an Olympic runner in England with that name and I saw it one time in a newspaper article. I have often wondered where his parents got his name. I have not seen it in our family tree. He will be laid to rest Wednesday June 5, 2019 beside his wife of 57 years.

Dad was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon. It was a wonderful service and a pretty day. Life goes on and he would have wanted us to move forward and live a Christian life. While he is gone and we will never see him again here on earth, for a believer we have assurance we will meet again. Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers.
