Lloyd lost his beautiful best friend and wife today(Dorthy Green). Here he is playing "There goes my Everything"
They were married like 60 years I believe and she was pictured with him on many of his Albums. We all will miss her and my heart goes out to Lloyd and their family. RIP Dot and I never met a Man more proud of his wife and eternal best friend.

Lloyd, I am so sorry for your loss, and I send my deepest condolences to you and your family. At this time. You and Miss Dot had been together for 60 years.
That is a life time by today's standards. A lifetime of love and happiness. You have some great memories that y'all have made. I pray God will send his Angels to comfort you at this time.

I was really devastated when I got the news. I have met Dot on a few occasions and always admired her big heart and her warm personality. Dot and Lloyd were just the perfect match, it is hard to imagine one without the other. I want to express my condolences to Lloyd and the family and send over my prayers and thoughts to comfort.

"Tone is in the hands. Unless your wife will let you buy a new amp. Then it's definitely in that amp."
We need to turn the TWANG up a little
It's not what you play through, it's what you play through it.
They say that tone is all in the fingers...I say it is all in your head
Some of the best pieces of life are the little pieces all added up..Ron
the value of friendship. Old friends shine like diamonds, you can always call them and - most important - you can't buy them.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Dot in the front row of Lloyd's appreciation ceremony at the CMHOF back in 2006. A very nice person, and you could tell that Lloyd and Dot found in each other what 99% of the rest of us of the world never will. It can only make Lloyd's loss that much more unbearable.
Lloyd, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lifelong partnerships seem so rare these days. I took a week with Jeff Newman years ago and Lloyd stopped by for lunch and an afternoon visit - one of the nicest gentlemen I've ever met and a lasting memory for me. I never had the opportunity to meet Dot but I know she would be every bit as personable and classy. So sad for your loss, Lloyd...God Bless you and Dot and I hope you can take comfort in knowing you two will be reunited some day.
