Bobby Rountree
My dear friend, Bobby Rountree passed away yesterday at his home in San Angelo, Texas. We played together in bands, off and on, for nearly 35 years. I will miss him terribly, and I know his many friends will too. Rest in peace my friend.

Sorry to hear this news, Anytime our band was in the San Angelo area Bobby would find the time to come by and say hello. Many times he would play some fiddle with us. RIP my friend Bobby

Thanks to the West Texas Steel Guitar Assn. Like others, I was blessed to meet and know Bobby..I sure enjoyed working some jobs with him..He was a great guy and musician.. a walking history book of the music we all love here in Texas! My condolences to his family..may he rest in peace.
