Heartbroken

Post by b0b »

Last night my son-in-law Bryce Velasco, one of my best friends in the world, died unexpectedly. We don't know if he had a stroke and fell or if simply hitting his head when he fell caused the brain hemorrhage that killed him. We were all gathered around him in hospital when he breathed his last.

The next few days will be challenging. Grief is overwhelming at this point. Bryce wasn't just one of the good guys, as they say, he was one of the best guys. This is a tremendous loss for our family. He was just 53 years old.

Bryce had been working for me in the Steel Guitar Forum office for the past 3 years, handling the bookkeeping, verifying memberships and filling mail orders. If you ever received an email from us signed simply SGF, that was Bryce. When you received your string order or Steel Guitarist magazines faster than expected, that was Bryce.

There's a big hole in my heart right now.

Terrible news b0b, he sounds like he was a great guy. Way too young to be lost.
