Stops in "Heartbreak Hotel"

Post by robert kramer »

Does anyone know how to program the stops in "Heartbreak Hotel"

Since my baby left me: (stop) > (stop)
I found a new place to dwell: (stop) > (stop)
Down at the end of lonely street...

Thanks in advance for any help.

To program a stop, type in the chord and 3 periods, example-C... Type in the Chord and 3 periods in each box in the bar where the stops go. Pick your style and tempo for the song, then click on the bar where the stops go, click on edit at the top, click on Settings for Current Bar and double the tempo or maybe more than double until you get the speed of the stops how you want them and click OK. Then click on the next bar and change the tempo back to the tempo for the song using these same steps. Repeat this each time you need the stops.

The first 'hit' is on the upbeat between beats
Three and Four, so you'll need to precede the
Chord Name with a Caret Symbol (Upper-case 6).
The second 'hit's is, of course, on the downbeat
of beat Four.
It'll call for a style with a Triplet Feel.
