Here's a way of archiving chord melody arrangements without the tedium of tabbing out every note..I call it "short tab"like shorthand! The first number is the fret,then pedals( 4-8 on C6, knee levers are named by note they give you on open strings..ie:10/56Bb..would be 10th fret 5+6 pedals + Bb knee lever .This is not "paint by numbers" tab, You have to know the melody in your head to use this! Often you'll melody and passing notes on KLs, and I try to show different positions the chords are available!..JS

John, I like this too. Sort of like charting a song. Could have been just as easy to have done that against the words of a song... Interesting.

Thanks for the comments,Fobros! Jim Cohen and I came up with this years ago and got to where we could speak on the phone in this shorthand to explain arrangements..Do a search for my other "Short Tabs" and let me know if they help your C6 knowledge..JS
