I just learned from my friend Ann Morton that Lynn has passed away of a sudden heart attack. She was 67, the daughter of Casey and Liz Anderson.

If you succeed in cheating someone, don't think that the person is a fool. It's just that the person trusted you far more than you deserved.

Oh no, what a terrible week!! I loved Lynn's music so much and won't ever get tired of listening to her early recordings featuring Lloyd. Lynn Anderson was wonderful, may she rest in peace.

I'm so sad to hear this. I was a big Lynn Anderson fan growing up, and still love her work from th 60's and 70's before she went pop. I fell in love with the steel guitar listening to her records, and always dreamed of playing steel for her. Maybe in the life to come...,,

Thanks for emailing it, Clem! Sounds like Lloyd to me and I believe that solo was used as an exercise in Scotty's Anthology book.

I was saddened to hear about Lynn. Last time I saw and heard her was in Norway in 2008, with Egil Skjelnes backing on steel. She sounded like an angel singing. Rest in peace, Lynn.
