I’m saddened to hear about Ronnie’s passing. I enjoyed his playing immensely and I’m glad I got to play music with him and his brother Dennis at the TSGA several times over the years. It was evident he loved that steel guitar and making music, and he had the touch. My love and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Very sorry to hear about Ronnie, but he's not in any pain now. Ronnie won the race and is in heaven I know. We will get to hear him play again someday! I only met Ronnie last year at the Baxter show. What a gentleman, and a great steel player. He put his heart and soul in his music, and it came out as beautiful music. Some of the best Tone I've ever heard. Will miss you brother.

Got to meet Ronnie about 10 years ago at the Dallas Show. He was a great person and a master of the E9 tuning for sure. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Our condolences to his family.

Just came across this today....We knew it was coming, but dreaded to hear it....I didn't know Ronnie for very long, but was honored to call him a friend. We had a nice talk on the last night of the Dallas show. He was as tickled about my new guitar as I was. What a player, and what a nice person...Rest in peace Ronnie, You are missed....Dick and Bev.
