Where is the movie? Ask Dave Keith because Keith Whitley is still alive in Spirit of to days music,And to think the Grand Ole Opry music system of people wouldn't make him a member when he was alive here on earth and they had the papers ready for his hands.

How cool was that for Jake, Blake Shelton's singer to do Keith Whitley's song.C after 25 years a true Artist Memories is still hanging on. My Friend Keith Whitley is a song I wrote that I just re-cut and will be releasing is soon. I sure love him my late friend and his whole family. I go to his Crestview every time am in Nashville,Tnn. His mother and I are very good friend too!

Hard to believe it has been that long, Leo. Keith was a great singer. I remember when I used to play open- mics in Baton Rouge. We would always get someone to come up to the band stand, to sing one of his songs. Well one night this young man came up and sang Don't Close Your Eyes, I was playing steel that night. When the song was over, there wasn't a dry eye in the HOUSE. I played the fills note for note, just like on the recording. The owner of the place looked at me and said, he didn't know how I play sober. I told him I just play it.
