Roland Peachy and his "organ electric guitar"

Post by Chris Templeton »

Never heard of Roland Peachy. One heck of a forward slant. I'm not too sure about his vibrato though:It looks like Rickenbacher pickups. I'm guessing that's a custom made guitar and must be one of the first triple necks made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJR_mGi0IfA

Chris, Thanks for the video of Roland Peachy.

Roland comes from France & his real name is R.J.Piche'. He changed his name so the pronounciation would sound correct. :)

Thank you Roger. Lorene Ruymar's "Hawaiian "Steel Guitar" book says about his guitar: "Entirely hand made and coils hand wound in the 1930's in Canada. Owned since the 1940's by Bob Green".

I'm not sure why he needs three necks. I've never seen anyone switch necks so frequently in one number.

"Organ Electric Guitar". That's a new one. Whatever will people think up next? Yes, I know it was before the war.

For once I didn't skip the video advert. I don't know whether the same advert comes up for everyone, but for me it was the preserved Britannia Pacific 70013 Oliver Cromwell, which I used to see a lot before it was withdrawn from British Railways service in 1967. 8)

Yes, he sure does jump around on the necks. Maybe he's advertising why everyone needs a triple neck. McDonalds ad for me.
