Playing with Jon Pardi on the Queen Latifah Show video

Post by Eddy Dunlap »

I had a post in the Steel Players section of the forum about steel guitar being on the show, but now here's a video link up for the song we did.

If that link doesn't work, here's a page with the video embedded in the website.

Great tasteful playing Eddy. You made that old horn sound sweet my young friend.
You're on your way pal!

Hey, kid, I watched the TV show you were on yesterday. I noticed you haven't forgotten what I told you about playing for the audience.
My old buddy, your dad would have been proud of you. I told Bill Copeland about you, being on the TV show. He said he was looking forward to see how you played. I might add , you look good and played good.

Tommy White's hi regard for you. Is something you should be proud of.
I can just hear your dad say . Willie, we created a monster.
Your old jam session, friend . Willie sims.

Rick, Tim, Bill- Thank you guys!! I'm just now getting a chance to catch up on the forum and am overwhelmed with all of the positive feedback.

-Tommy, your impeccable musicianship and encouragement are strongly valued, my friend!

-Willie, I don't think I could've held the patience for practicing without your help and guidance! Those jam sessions with you, my dad, and I playing swing standards are part of my favorite memories.

These two gentlemen have heavily influenced my musical world in a very positive way.

Andy- Yes, I've been touring with both Clay Walker and Jon Pardi for about the past 3 years now. They're great guys that really enjoy steel guitar.
