David Spires father
My Condolences to the Spires family. I Knew his Dad very well, we both took music lessons at the same studio and I lived in Zanesville also before leaving to play music out of state. Will always remember him. May he rest in GODS LOVING ARMS. Rudy

Chuck was an avid supporter of the GSGA shows and played for many years as the lead guitarist in the band. He was always a joy to be around and real blessing to all who came in contact with him. His talents were amazing and an awesome complement to our band. To the Spires family, we say a great big thank you for being a part of the Gospel Steel show for so many years. To David, I know what an influence your dad was to you as you "grew up" in the music world. I know you will miss him greatly. God bless you.

Indeed Chuck will be missed. A great musician and person. His legacy will live on in his sons and all the many students he has influenced.
Chuck played almost all of the Hummingbird shows in Ohio. We were honored to have him.
Our heartfelt sympathies and prayers go out to the family. Go rest high. Rick

I always enjoyed Chucks guitar playing and had the pleasure of performing with chuck on one of the Knoxville shows that Stoney had . Chuck's guitar playing was absolutely wonderful and he could bring out some wonderful tone on stage. He will be missed and may Chucks family be comforted as they go thru a very trying time. God Bless you all
