Jay Dee Maness is just a great steel player and a super guy to boot. He is one of those players I can sit and listen to for hours.

Jaydee is among my top 3 steel guitar heroes. I had never seen him playing with Vince before.

i agree alexander. i've decided my three favorite stylists for tone, emotion and cool persona are: john hughey, buddy emmons and jaydee maness.

not to take anything away from the other hundred incredible players who have influenced me, but these guys and their licks have imbedded a mark in my gray matter.
