Your "Top 3" Steel-related Web Instructional Vids

Post by Mike Heugel »

Thought this might make for a fun little thread. What are your "Top 3" Steel instructional vids on the web?

The Guidelines:

1) Only 3 allowed!
2) Any steel/dobro/slide related vids are fair game.
3) Try to keep links limited to free-traffic sites - no "members only" areas (i.e. Truefire.com, Pedalsteel.com members area, etc.)
4) You can't link your own material.

Here's my current Top 3, in no particular order:

- Zane King's Left Arm Technique - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HTi4tpvFVM - seems like common sense, until you catch yourself not doing it 50 times.

- Joe Wright's Learning Scales on E9th - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oghNoqQrSUQ - fantastic method for a computer geek like myself, using Excel to map out scale positions.

- Mickey Adams Scale Melody - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvT0iINs1v0 - my favorite of Mickey's awesome videos. I've always been a fan of the "Mr Myagi" method of teaching and learning.
