How does one open a YouTube account?

Hello, I'd like to post a video on YouTube but I can not find anything about opening a new account anywhere on the YouTube homepage. I'm hopeing this is a dumb question and the answer is very simple. Please help, Thanks Don

Look for a "Sign In' . click "Create Account" and go from there.

Don, you might have to go to Google to open the account. They just recently changed the entire thing over to Google.

But I'm almost certain if you type in:

www.youtube.com

That should take you to where you need to be to set up an acct. But now, it's a Google Acct.
