I was so very sad to get the call yesterday afternoon. Bill was a loved man, an avid steeler and also brilliant and wonderful person. He was a dear friend to me and though I heard his health had diminished since I last saw him a couple of years ago, I can't say I was expecting this from Bill~ he wasn't going to go anywhere... so prayers go out for his family as I know they will all be missing him so very much~ God bless you all, go rest ole buddy~ see ya down the road~

I pray that God will comfort Bill's family and friends in his passing. I met him through the Forum and i think i met him at the Convention a few years back. Nice guy, easy to talk to and very helpful to me concerning all things steel. Thanks Bill.

Sorry to hear of Bills' passing. I recall he was a very happy guy the times I met with him at conventions. He often stopped into the Sierra room when I was there and always requested 'South's Gonna Do It Again" by The CDB.
RIP.
